The Ajuntament is compromised to respect the confidentiality and protect the dades of persons established to the vigorous standards of the Unió Europea, the estat, Catalunya i del propi municipi.

1. Data processing
The Castelló d’Empúries City Council, responsible for the processing, collects only the personal data necessary for the processing of the municipal service required by the user. All the data obtained will not be used for purposes other than those that motivated the obtaining, guaranteeing the confidentiality in the treatment of the same.

2. Assignments
The data collected by the City Council will not be provided or communicated to third parties unless explicitly authorized, if necessary for the provision of the requested service or when the data are required by the competent public authorities..

Thus, at any time, citizens may exercise their recognized rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition and limitation of processing, as well as the right to revoke the consent given for the transfer of their personal data.

5. Electronic office
The City Council is responsible for the integrity, veracity and updating of the information and services that can be accessed through the electronic office.

6. Applicable legislation and control authorities
All information provided to the City Council is subject to current legislation on the protection and confidentiality of the processing of personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union and its directives, Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the City Council Security Document. On the websites of the Catalan Data Protection Authority and the Spanish Agency for Data Protection is available and the large selection normative reference guides.

7. Copyright and liability
The design of the municipal websites and their source codes, as well as the logos, trademarks, images and other distinctive signs that appear, belong to the Castelló d’Empúries City Council and are protected. by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights. The council will not be responsible for the use that third parties make of the information published on municipal websites, nor for the damage suffered or economic losses derived from it. Nor of the legality of other external third party websites from which they can be accessed or linked from the municipal website.

The City Council reserves the right to make changes to the website without prior notice, in order to keep its information up to date, adding, modifying, correcting or deleting the published content or its design. The total or partial reproduction of the published contents that are not considered as open data in the electronic headquarters is prohibited, according to the provisions of Royal Decree 1495/2011, of 24 October, implementing Law 37/2007, on Reuse of public sector information.

8.Municipal Transparency Portal
Through the information published on the Municipal Transparency Portal, the City Council regularly and up to date meets the principle of active advertising established by LAW 19/2014, of 29 December, on Transparency, access to public information and good governance, with the appropriate mechanisms to facilitate accessibility, the interoperability, quality and reuse of information, as well as its identification and location.

9. Cookies
